Aviation Logistics Development Company completes quartet of development partners

01-04-2009Maastricht Aachen Airport has signed a contract with the development consortium Aviation Logistics Development Company (ALDC BV) as a partner in the 104 ha. AviationValley Businesspark at the airport. With the signing of the contract the development of the state of the art park is taking a leap forward. ALDC BV is a consortium of VolkerWessels B.V. and Impeerium B.V.

In February the Limburg Province had already agreed to a 40% participation in AviationValley Businesspark. Maastricht Aachen Airport will also retain a 40% share and DuraVermeer Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling holds the remaining 10%.

With the developments of these for parties, as well as the decision by the Limburg Province to supply a EUR 9 million credit, the preparation for construction has started. It is expected the first lot will be sold in April and demand for the lots, 18 ha. Of which has airside access, is high.

Until 2023 a total of over 550.000m2 is available for construction of aviation related, transportation/distribution and modern general business companies.
